Farewell, for now...

Well, the EVO class is over, and I'm yet to complete the final project. I've been SO busy with a new job and lots of homework, etc. but I'm determined to get it done ASAP. Thanks to all the participants and moderators for making this experience very fun and very educational. I hope to meet some of you in Philadelphia in March!

Time is indeed flying...

Well, it's week five of the Podcasting EVO class now. Where did all the time go? I'm so behind, but I vow to get caught up this week! So much to do, gotta get going on my project. Most of all though, I'm really excited at the prospect of using the knowledge and skills I learned during the last 4 weeks in my ESOL classrooms. By the end of March I plan to have a whole system of regular podcasting activities set up for my students to engage with as a standard part of their studies.

Be well and happy podcasting to everyone out there!

Interview Podcast w/ Livia, a BU M.Ed TESOL student!

Podcast Powered By Podbean

Well, this was lots of fun. A 25-minute interview chat with my classmate at Boston University, Livia Li. She's great to talk to and after some technical difficulties and lots of time management issues, I'm finally able to get this posted! Now on to all the OTHER late Podcasting class work I need to catch up on!

Enjoy the interview. :)

Check in and update...

Just checking in...about to start in on my Week 3 Podcasting EVO homework activities. Hope everyone is having a good week. The news from my TESOL world..I had my final class teaching at a factory today (I got a new job). It was sad as we'd just begun to 'bond' and make some good progress. I tried to stay, but in the end I had to go. I'm meeting the new teacher on Sunday to go over transition stuff and get her up to speed. On the positive side, I'm starting an exciting new teaching job on Monday. :)

Welcome to MatthewPod - My TESOL EVO 'Podcasting for the EFL/ESL Classroom' Blog! Welcome fellow teachers...

This is my creation for the TESOL EVO Podcasting for the EFL/ESL Classroom online session (for Week 2 homework). I will use it to post podcasts as well as links etc. to other content I create during this class. I'll use it for my final project as well, I'm assuming. Thanks for visiting and enjoy!
